Spring
I see the bouncing baby lambs.
I hear the buzzing bees.
I smell the beautiful flowers.
I feel really happy it is Spring.
I taste Spring dinner cooking.

I can hear the baby birds eating seeds.
I can  see the leaves on the trees.
I feel the warm sun on my face.
I can taste and smell sausages cooking.

Our focus for writing this term is hooking the reader in by writing interesting and exciting story starters. Here are some of our first attempts:

The Little Dragon
The little black leathery dragon stood on the trembling fingertips while blowing little white puffs of snowlike smoke.

I see a dragon on my hand. I see boiling steam coming off it's scaly body. I know it's a dragon because it's got wings and a creepy black tail.

I can feel the scaly small hot dragon. I can see it's hot, hot fire inside it's scaly mouth.
